Thank you, landowners!

With the generous support of our landowner partners throughout the Mad River Valley, we have amazing places to hike, ride, ski and snowshoe. Meet some of our benefactors in the Vermont Mountain Bike Association's landowner appreciation video. |
The Mad River Riders' nearly 60 miles of trails link and loop throughout the Mad River Valley, connecting our special places with fun and sustainable biking, hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing routes for all abilities. Check out the beginner-friendly and expert-fun Blueberry Lake trails in the Green Mountain National Forest, classic technical trails at Eurich Pond, Chase Brook Town Forest, Camel's Hump and Phen Basin State Forests, and flowy classics starting at Lareau Farm. The Mad River Riders are a founding chapter of the Vermont Mountain Bike Association and have helped create a broad coalition of landowners, land managers, and recreation and conservation groups. We are also a key part of the Velomont collaborative working to link VMBA networks throughout the state. We have official partnerships with:
Through these collaborations, we are able to build and maintain the largest and most popular multi-use trail network in the Mad River Valley. We work hard to produce thoughtful, well-planned new trail builds every season to better connect the existing systems and our community centers, while protecting the environment and being good neighbors. Please become a member, volunteer your time, and join our email list to learn more about the trails, events, rides, and building and maintenance projects. |
